Vignan Corp was founded in 2016 in the San Francisco Bay Area by Sumant Patro and Chayan Biswas — two engineers with decades of experience at SanDisk, Intel, Motorola and Toshiba.
Fleet operators were stuck with expensive, locked-in telematics — drowning in dashboards yet finding out about breakdowns and incidents from a phone call.

First commercial fleet deployments
AjnaView is deployed with logistics and construction fleets — proving the hardware-agnostic, API-first architecture in real-world conditions.
Video telematics launched & India entity established
Added dashcam and driver-behavior modules, expanding from location intelligence into full driver safety. The same year, Vignan Corp India launched under the AjnaView brand to scale hardware, firmware and 24/7 support engineering.
Vignan Corp UK established
European operations launch from the United Kingdom to serve customers across EMEA with local presence, support and data residency.
